Are UniFi Protect recordings saved locally?
Yes. Recording takes place on a local UniFi Console or a dedicated network video recorder. Remote access and permissions are configured separately.
How is the required storage capacity calculated?
The decisive factors are the number of cameras, resolution, frame rate, desired retention period, recording mode and redundancy. We consider these factors before selecting the product.
Can novoSYS deliver cameras and network together?
Yes. Especially with Protect, PoE, VLANs, uplinks, storage and remote access are part of the same solution and should be planned together.
